Setting aside a little period of time each morning to actively plan and schedule your day’s tasks is one method to get off to a good start and have a productive day. You must divide your tasks into manageable chunks. When you wake up in the morning, this gets you ready for the day and helps you focus on the things that count. This helps you avoid wasting a lot of time during the day trying to figure out what to do and how to accomplish your goals.
- Have a Bedtime Routine
To have a restful sleep at night and look forward to a happy, healthy morning with confidence, you have to do the things that help you feel relaxed and de-stressed after a long day. Me, I scroll through my favorite social media, eat good meals and probably watch a movie before bedtime. Consistency is the secret to unlocking this puzzle to having a balanced life.

TED Talk has positively impacted me in various ways and I am grateful for all the learning experiences from people of diverse backgrounds and worldviews. TED Talk will help you become more aware of yourself, the things that inspire you to become more creative, a change agent, and a positive influence on your society and in the lives of others. TED Talk videos are often short in length so you can watch as many as you can within a day and still be able to internalize the ideas and perspectives being shared
- Get to know Yourself
Taking the time to learn about yourself is not only productive but very therapeutic. You can get to know your key strengths and weaknesses. This helps you to decide on what to focus on and what to ignore, probably because some things may be beyond your control. Take personality tests that enable you to understand yourself better. Read different books on temperaments. Do this and improve yourself in the most remarkable way
- Treat Yourself
When was the last time you gave yourself a treat like a nice meal, a soothing massage, or a mani/pedi? So perhaps give that some thought this week! Do you have any movies you’ve been meaning to watch? Or perhaps a cool tourist destination where you’d want to spend some time? Try it out! You are well deserving of it.
- Revisit Your Goals
Probably this year, you made some resolutions. Or established some objectives for your professional or academic development? How have you so far accomplished this? Are there any that you no longer deem relevant? Or are there some that you’d like to alter? Are you really confident in achieving them within the set timelines? Spend some time thinking back on your objectives and the work you did to accomplish them. This will allow you to reevaluate the critical areas that require improvement.

Have a notepad where you may record all of your accomplishments, big or small. You can use this to keep yourself motivated and focused while you pursue excellence. When you are feeling low, it might also help you regain your confidence. Try it out!
