  1. UM Holland-High Potential Scholarship 2023 in The Netherlands

One of the most prominent funding opportunities for international students from all over the world who want to study at Maastricht University in the Netherlands is the UM Holland-High Potential Scholarship.

Only applicants for master’s degrees programmes of study outside of the European Union are eligible for the award. Out of the thousands of candidates, only 24 receive the scholarship each year.

The scholarship package’s overall value is €30,000, which includes tuition fees, living expenses, a monthly stipend, health and liability insurance, expenditures associated with obtaining a visa, and pre-academic training expenses.

The UM Holland-High Potential Scholarship programme covers for both 13-months one-year master programmes and 25-months two-year master programmes.

Application Procedure

Only selected master programmes are eligible for a UM Holland-High Potential Scholarship. Also, you have first to apply for an eligible master programme at Maastricht University to receive a student ID to be able to apply for the scholarship once you have gained admission.

If your preferred study programme requires the payment of an application fee as part of the admission procedures, the scholarship does not cover application fees so you must complete payment of application fees latest by 1st February 2023.

  • The Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) in Germany

The most esteemed scholarship in Germany for international students is the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD). Students from developing nations have benefited from the DAAD scholarship, which gives them the chance to enroll in a number of German universities.

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program is designed to attract brilliant international students to enroll in their masters and PhD programs.

Fields of Study

  • Biology and health, Ecological transition, Mathematics and digital, Engineering Sciences, History, French language and civilization, Law and political science, and  Economics and management

The maximum age for master’s program applicants is 25, while the maximum age for doctoral program applicants is 30. The scholarship program is intended for candidates from developing countries who are interested in pursuing degrees in programs with a decision-making emphasis in both the private and public sectors.

Value of Scholarship

Master’s Degree programmes – Monthly stipend of €1,181 and can be awarded for 12-36 months

PhD programmes – Monthly stipend of €1,700 and is awarded for a maximum of 12 months.

Benefits

International transportation, national transportation, health insurance, housing searches, and cultural activities. However, tuition fees are not covered by the Eiffel Programme.

Deadline

For participating French institutions, the application deadline is earlier and falls in November or December 2022. Campus France applications must be submitted by 10 January 2023.
